The idea of a Youth Led Gospel Choir had been brewing in my  mind for ages! But I needed a partner who was already working with young people. Tara from Exodus Youth Worx was the only choice!!! So when I contacted Tara and found out that she had been wanting to start a Youth Gospel Choir too, I knew it was meant to be! 

 

So after lots of WhatsApp chats, emails and meetings, we finally decided to just set a start date. It’s been only 3 months and we already have performance requests!!  

 

We had a brainstorming session with a group of people who came up with the name Voices of Exodus, which we love, and sessions started the 2nd week in January and we’re still going.
